when in doubt, dance it out 💃🏻

Hi my friend,

Success and failure are just life's way of playing see-saw with us.

You're up, you're down, but you're always in for an adventure! So, as I like to say, hold on tight and enjoy the ride 😉

Or, as the fabulous diva Beyoncé likes to say…

When success comes knocking on your door, it's easy to let it climb into your head, inflate your ego, and set up camp there.

But we must be careful. An inflated head makes it difficult to pass through doors—especially the doors of opportunity, humility, empathy, and a desire to learn and grow.

On the flip side, when failure darkens your doorstep, it’s easy to let it sneak into your heart, set up a lounge chair, and begin a pity party.

But remember, a self-centered heart makes it hard to rise and chase after your dreams. So, show failure the exit before it gets too comfy!

Success is not a crown to be worn on the head, nor is failure a dagger to pierce the heart. They are merely indicators that you're alive, you're trying, and you're human. And that's something to celebrate!

Your Action Step: Next time you're celebrating a victory or nursing a setback, remember to keep your head clear and your heart light. Let your successes be the cool breeze that gently lifts you up and your failures be the gentle rain that nurtures growth but doesn't cause a flood.

Regardless of where you are on the see-saw of life, keep moving forward, keep growing, and keep laughing.

And hey, when in doubt, channel your inner Beyoncé, and just dance it out! 🕺💃

With gratitude,

Jamie
