now this is something people notice…

I really like being different—and here's why: I realized a long time ago that going with the crowd is easy.

But being brave and having courage are not.

The best part about courage? It's contagious. (And thank goodness—because we absolutely need more of it!)

It turns heads. It makes the news. When people take a stand for what’s right, their courage gets noticed.

I want to see a world where people see a need and do something about it. I’ll never forget the first time I went to Cambodia—and I knew instantly someone needed to do something to help.

That someone who does something can be you, First name / my friend. And I need to let you in on a little secret…people notice courage. They watch. They listen.

Your Action Step: Don’t be a bystander. Be an action-taker. What is one courageous thing you can do today—big or small? Not because you should, but because you can. Even when it feels completely scary.

Maybe that’s simply smiling at the angry-looking stranger at the grocery store. Maybe it’s picking up the phone and calling that friend you’ve lost contact with. Maybe it’s not wearing makeup and still believing you’re beautiful. Or maybe it's getting the courage to ask that friend out on a real date.

Courage is contagious. Feel it, act on it, and then use it to inspire others to do the same.

You can be known for your fear or courage. Wouldn’t you rather be known for your courage? 🧡

With gratitude,

Jamie
